Three essential ingredients for a Summer anthem. A simple, catchy and an addictive hook that you could smoke a joint to and live free (or you could at least imagine yourself doing that). There were many songs that topped the local charts this summer, but if I had to pick one that I could listen to on repeat all summer long, I would choose the best summer song of all time (so far): “Tennis” by Chaos.

The video clip is a psychedelic, ecstasy-driven trip same as the lyrics that included ambition, hustle and money that have been staples of his music for his career. The flow barely changes and many of his lines are quietly easily memorable. The hook is simple, catchy, and addictive :

Summer can’t really feel like summer until the right music is playing. There are so many songs I could go on and on about for all seasons, whether it’s winter, spring, or my favorite season, summer, where nothing beats something as simple as a car ride with the windows down, with “Tennis” blasting loud.
