Before ElGrandeToTo became a hip hop star, he was a hip hop teenager hanging out in Casablanca, his hometown. He spent much of his life in the heavily Benjdia neighborhood where he was born in 1995. ElGrandeToTo started his career not as a rapper but as a hip hop dancer in his early teens.

In 2017, Taha Fahssi officially became ElGrandeToTo, turning his talent and his passion for the street culture into the vehicle that would transport him from a local hip-hop kid to the bigger scenes and sold-out venues, after he released the remix of Haribo, then an album titled BNJ CITY BLOCK all including fire tracks like 9awdooha featuring lferda, then his all time biggest hit Pablo that surpassed 19 millions views on Youtube. Later in 2018, ElGrandeToTo released an EP called illicit, reintroducing himself to a world that has already begun to conquer. From that day, he kept on releasing hits skyrocketing him to the stardom of the local rap industry. His most common music release day is December 27th, where Taha blesses his fans every year with 7elmetAdo where he mentioned things that influenced his life and even takes it as chance to response to beef he had. He’s on his fifth one, on this day.

Taha Fahssi, 24, stands out for his rapid-fire rap style and his unbelievable flow as well as his ever-changing hair color. This day, it was black. He cultivated a strong and rabid fan base, regularly playing festivals and, and opening up to worldwide artists such as Damso , Anas, AM La Scampia , …

2020 was far and away ElGrandeToTo‘s most prolific year. Throughout that six months period, he managed to score more charting songs, than some acts do in their entire lives, such as HORS SERIE, Mikasa, VitamineDZ and even featured Don Bigg in DDD. And starting 2021, with a blessed track titled Mghayer, in the memory of his passed mom.

Fans are still waiting years now for his highly anticipated album CAMELEON, that’s hopefully gonna drop next month.
