Snor, the balaclava kid, released yesterday his highly anticipated track ” LALALA “. For the second day in a row, I find myself blasting the song on repeat, it seems that it stands out as my summer jam.

Snor, has supplied his vocals on a number of great tracks this year; including collaborations; like Draganov‘s “Jini lkhir”, “De9a De9a” and “Lgana”, that both amassed million of views. But the repeat value on those tracks is nowhere close to the fun time that “LALALA” provides. The video clip is a psychedelic, ecstasy-driven trip same as the lyrics that included ambition, hustle and money that have been staples of his music for his career. The flow barely changes and many of his lines are quietly easily memorable.

The hook is simple, catchy, and addictive :

Denya denya ga3 dyalek, ghatji ghir de9a de9a

Three essential ingredients for a summer anthem. You could smoke a joint to this song and live free, or you could at least imagine yourself doing that. (I’m not condoning the usage of drugs in this post).

There’s no extra verse or a sudden change from this build-up. LALALA simply exists and while it is well done, it leaves me wanting more.
